Linda Gray pledges to abide by the provisions of the Arizona Clean Elections Act. This important legislation, enacted in 1998, encourages citizen participation in the political process and requires Clean Elections candidates to forego the use of special-interest monies in their campaigns. By leveling the playing field through the use of limited and equal campaign funding, registered voters can provide "grass-roots" support to their preferred candidates without concern that their issues will be overshadowed by those of large campaign donors.
